|  Re-cans for product design - Why Aluminium?

Aluminium was chosen due to its presence in daily life and the vast amount of cans discarded from everyday consumption. While lightweight, durable, and visually distinctive, aluminium production is highly energy-intensive and generates significant air and water pollution. Recycling aluminium reduces the need for raw material extraction, lowers energy consumption, and significantly decreases greenhouse gas emissions, making it a crucial material in addressing environmental challenges.
